Gloucester Rugby have confirmed that England international hooker Jack Singleton faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a cardiac event in September.

In a medical update from Head of Medical Rhys Hughes, the Cherry & Whites announced:
“Gloucester Rugby can sadly confirm that hooker Jack Singleton will not feature for an extended period of time.”
The 29-year-old has been undergoing extensive medical testing alongside cardiac specialists since the incident, with the club assuring that he will continue to receive their full backing.
“Jack will continue to receive full support from the Gloucester Rugby medical team,” the statement added.
Singleton, who stands 5’11” and weighs 111kg, last appeared for Gloucester in Round 1 of the Gallagher Premiershipagainst Exeter Chiefs.
Capped seven times by England, his final international appearance came against Argentina in 2022.
